Starting Counselling

At Metamorphosis Counselling, I understand that it’s not always easy taking those initial first steps to therapy. Once you’ve made the decision to access the service, the rest is simple. I'll arrange an initial free consultation, lasting approximately 30 – 50 minutes. This is an opportunity for you to find out more about the service I offer clients and for us to determine whether you’re likely to benefit from the range of counselling support I can offer.

Accessing the Service

Here at Metamorphosis Counselling , I aim to ensure accessing the Service is simple. I'm aware that contacting someone you don’t know may feel like a daunting task, so it’s important to me that clients feel able to approach me with any questions about the Service.

Where

I am happy to see clients at my office in Preston or to arrange a home visit (this will incur an extra cost).

Fees

Appointments are charged per session. Payment is due at the end of the session and can be made by cash or cheque.

Individuals: 50 minutes session £25.00

Couples: 60 minutes session £30.00


NB If you are on benefits or have genuine financial hardship please speak to me at the time of enquiry where this can be discussed.

Telephone Counselling

Clients can arrange for a counselling session over the phone. I have a private room in which I can take confidential calls without being disturbed.
Telephone counselling can often be helpful where there are difficulties in making the practical arrangements to see me due to distance or family commitments.

The fee for telephone counselling is £30 for 50 minutes.
